World Kabaddi celebrates World Kabaddi Day annually, marking the anniversary of its founding date in 2018. Since then, the organisation has grown to include five continental governing bodies and more than 55 National Federations, a number which continues to rise as the sport’s global popularity skyrockets. 

Day seven, the final day of the Paddy Power Kabaddi World Cup 2025

The penultimate day was a critical day as the Paddy Power Kabaddi World Cup was welcomed back to WV Aldersley in Wolverhampton

We had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Osama Said, the newly elected president of World Kabaddi, about his vision for kabaddi, the challenges ahead, and the future of Kabaddi worldwide. 

Day five may have taken place at the home of British Judo, but the focus was firmly on kabaddi as we hit quarter and semi finals day.
